| The
lakeside sauna is on the shore of the idyllic Lake Hanhijärvi.
You can cool off in the lake from the sauna even in wintertime, when a
hole is cut into the ice. In addition to the sauna, the cabin also
has a kitchen with a gas stove and a main room with four beds. This
traditional Finnish cabin can be rented for a longer period of time as
a summer cottage. |

Rinse off the dust
and stress of the city in the regular sauna which is large enough
for a bigger group of people. There is ample room for ten people
and the two sauna stoves guarantee a thorough cleansing of both body and
soul. |
| A part
of the original Finnish lifestyle is the smoke-sauna which sauna-experts
say gives a more gentle heat than regular saunas. Salotalo’s smoke-sauna
was build the way it would have been build hundreds of years ago, and there
is ample room for six people. |
