Salotalo provides the setting for anything from a quiet holiday to a larger event.  You can spend a family weekend here, or arrange a company get-together.  In winter there is overnight accommodation for 20 guests, and in summer when the outbuildings are in use, Salotalo sleeps up to 40 guests.  In addition to the 200-year-old main building, the Salotalo yard includes two outbuildings, an outdoor kitchen, and a Lapp-style hut.  There are three saunas:  a traditional smoke-sauna and a regular sauna, with an additional room where you can relax afterwards by the fireplace; the third sauna is part of a traditional summer cottage, right on the shore of Lake Hanhijärvi.  Set apart from the main site is a small cabin often used as a honeymoon suite.  More adventurous people can camp out at the lean-to along the nature trail.
